Our Story
Tony and Jennifer first connected in July of 2017 over happy hour in mid-city LA. A simple first date became much more after they bonded over their shared love of California Cabernet Sauvignon, electronic dance music, memories of trips to Las Vegas, and their city of Los Angeles. Tony and Jennifer officially became boyfriend and girlfriend on a trip to Chicago for the American Academy of Optometry in October 2017. They have also traveled to Hawaii, San Francisco, San Antonio, Sacramento, Orlando, and San Diego together to eat too much and to visit Tiki Bars. Jennifer and Tony now share a growing collection of tiki mugs from various cities, with room to expand. They look forward to travelling internationally together one day. Tony re-introduced Jennifer to camping (more like glamping) and it's become one of their favorite things to do together. Jennifer taught Tony the art of KonMari organizing and sparking joy.
It was obvious that Jennifer was "the one," and Tony planned to surprise her with the question while on a vacation to San Francisco and Napa. On April 15, 2019, the last day of their trip, during a "wine tasting" on the chateau balcony at Domaine Carneros Winery, Tony asked Jennifer to marry him. Since then, they have been enjoying their deepened relationship as an engaged couple. Most recently, Jennifer and Tony spent two months locked in quarantine together. As Cancers, their innate nesting tendencies made them well equipped for extended periods of time at home without the need for exposure to natural sunlight or contact with the outside world. Instead, they passed time by playing Animal Crossing and inventing a game called "Why Are You Doing it Like That?" in which there are no winners.
On a perfect day in February 6, 2021, surrounded by their families and friends watching from close and afar, Tony and Jennifer became husband and wife and in doing so, started a new chapter in their love story...
